The PTC-LA6 is specifically designed for BB-LA6 lead-acid batteries, incorporating a three-level charging circuit controlled by a digital processor to optimize charging and extend battery life.

During charging, the battery is initially charged at a high rate until it reaches a preset terminal voltage. Subsequently, the charge current is gradually tapered off while maintaining the terminal voltage. Charging continues until the current decreases to one-tenth (10%) of the bulk charge rate, ensuring thorough and efficient charging of the battery.

Advantages:

Automatic Capacity Detection: When the battery reaches full saturation, the charger ceases charging to prevent overcharging. This triggers the charge indicator light to change to green, indicating the battery is in a"READY"state.

Automatic Temperature Detection: In instances where the battery temperature is excessively low, the charger initiates charging using a minimal micro electric current. This continues until the battery's temperature returns to an optimal range, after which the charger switches to normal current charging.

Wide Range Input Voltage: The charger is designed to accept a broad spectrum of input voltages, ensuring compatibility with various power sources without compromising performance or safety.
